Four Post

I get four beeps during my bios post. What does this mean?

When my computer starts, I get 4 beeps from the CPU.
Its like:

low long - high long - low long- high long

What does this mean?? This started happening after I cleaned my processor's heatsink. The teperatures reduced from average 95C to 75C. But I can hardly start the computer now. If it starts, it resets before window loads. Luckily, I got it running to post this query.

I don't have a video card/graphics card now. If it's a RAM problem, how did it suddenly start??

I suppose that you have touched either the vedio card or the RAM and they were been moved a little bit from there places.

Just reconnect them and make sure they are fix in a good way.
