Is this a good graphics card???
Is this a good graphics card and is it compatible with my system? I would mostly use this card for gaming but not hardcore gaming.

No, you shouldn't get that graphics card.
For $10 more, you could get a 8400GS from Directron.com and that would give you much better performance.
Alternative models (depending on price) include the nvidia 9600GT (~$150), and the 8800GT (~$200). If you're looking to drop more than that, consider the 8800GTX or the 9800GTX, which is around $300. The 9800GX2 (dual GPU card) is ~$600
