How do I know what size amp I need with a sub?

Im looking into upgrading my stock sound system in my reg cab f150. I found the mtx thunderform, Enclosure loaded with 2 MTX Audio Thunder4500 12" Subwoofers(pre-installed)Power Handling: 450 Watts RMSImpedance: 4Ohms (internally wired in parallel to provide a single 4 Ohminput).
Now my question is what size amp do I need? and what else do I need?

Physics is wrong-- please ignore him, a four channel amp is for interior speakers....

You need an amp that makes around 450 watts RMS. The best way to do this, is to get a 2 channel amp (since you have a 4 ohm box).

The spec should read like this, when bridged.
450 watts RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms (bridged).
