Should i rebuild my motor its a b18c?

I was thinking of rebuilding my motor before i slap a turbo on it i know these motors with a real good turbo kit and a great tune can push close to 300 whp on stock internals but im having an issue with an oil leak and its burning too much oil. I did a compression test and leak down test and they came out good but my motor isn't that young any more so i was thinking of rebuilding it myself how much you guys think i will spend on forged internals and what kind of internals do you guys recommend i have never gotten into internals so i don't know too much about what to get and all that i will be attempting close to 400 whp. Thanks for looking and hope you can share some info with me on this topic.

Fiat Stilo Abarth selespeed gearbox hydraulic oil seal?

I had a new engine put into my 03 Stilo Abarth. I had fitted a new seal on the spigot shaft on the auto box but when started it leaks back out the hydraulic fluid. Is there any way to set this seal so it will not leak !!

You sure the seal was put in correctly if it is leaking already.

How much would it cost to fix engine oil leak on 98 corolla?

My friend wants to give me his 98 Corolla but the engine leaks engine oil... and he needs to fill it every 4 days or so... i was wondering how much would it cost to fix this? and where would it be best to get auto insurance for a first time driver.

The price of fixing an oil leak would depend most on where it is leaking from. If it is coming from the valve cover it is an easy fix for even the most inexperienced mechanic. If it is the oil pan you can fix that to if you can use a socket and ratchet. If it is coming from a sensor it could cost you a few dollars more than the gaskets. I would say if you wanted to get your hands dirty you could fix most oil leaks for under $50 bucks

Oil leak problem. 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 liter?

Happened suddenly. Noticed when oil vaporized into smoke and entered interior through vents. Seems to be from a pressurized source and located somewhere in the rear engine area near firewall and exhaust. Highway speed caused oil to scatter over large area, mechanic cleaned and added dye to oil....no luck yet in determinining cause. Any ideas?

Get rid of that JEEP! they are known for a lot more problems then a simple oil leak causing vapors to enter your cabin and potential kill you. LOL! Read consumer report and pick your cars from there.

I have Honda XR250R 1998 (oil in frame), I have oil leaking out of the left hand side (alternator) cover, in the parts book I do not see a crankshaft oil seal,. should oil be in there or should it be dry??? I hear of counter shaft seals going, is this my prob? does it mean a full rebuild?

There is no seal, because that cover has oil in it.
Clean the engine case of all dirt and oil.
Sprinkle white baby powder around the gasket and run the engine.
The baby powder will dis-color when oil touches it - there's the leak.
